Mine is a simple story. I am married to a incredible lady. We have a family with two smart, pretty, tough, and talented daughters and a overly-friendly Wheaten Terrier.

I work in a Fortune 100 company in southeastern Michigan. Although some of what I write may be influenced by my day job you will never see me blog about it (I have plenty of other things to say without making my bosses nervous).

I have been a computer geek for nearly twenty years (before that I was just a plain ole geek :-). The Cannell house is my testbed for many projects involving various Open Source software systems. Some of my interests are driven by my wife's business 4L Designs.

I am also on the South Farmington Baseball, Inc. Board. Last year I ran the eight-and-under girls softball league. This year I am running the ten-and-under girls softball league, managing a twelve-and-under team, and leading SFBI's use of the web. Check us out at www.sfbi.org.
